Overview

Thomas Pudas is an associate in Gunster’s Private Wealth Services practice group in the firm’s West Palm Beach office.

Thomas earned both his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law. During his legal studies, Thomas served as a Staff Editor for the University of Miami Law Review and was recognized for his academic accomplishments, earning the Director’s Award in Income Tax of Trusts and Estates and the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement in multiple courses. While pursuing his LL.M., Thomas focused his studies on tax-exempt organizations, federal estate and gift taxes, and the taxation of digital assets, earning a concentration in Taxation of High-Net-Worth Individuals.

Prior to law school, Thomas was a business tax services associate at KPMG, where he gained experience addressing complex tax matters for large corporate clients. In addition to his legal and tax background, Thomas currently serves as a Military Intelligence Officer in the United States Army Reserve, where he continues his family’s tradition of military service after earning his commission through the University of South Florida’s Army ROTC program.
