Overview
Nalani Gordon is a Labor and Employment attorney based in Gunster’s West Palm Beach office. Her practice focuses on helping business owners, executives, and employers identify and manage legal risk before it becomes costly litigation. Drawing on experience in employment law, business litigation, internal investigations, and dispute resolution, Nalani translates complex legal issues into practical strategies that support sound decisions, productive workplaces, and business objectives.
Nalani works with business leaders, HR professionals, and risk-management teams to evaluate workplace practices and address personnel issues. She advises on discipline and termination, wage and hour compliance, restrictive covenants, workplace investigations, and handbook development, helping organizations make informed decisions that advance compliance and operational goals.
When disputes arise, Nalani represents businesses in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in employment and business litigation. She handles pre-suit proceedings, administrative charges, internal investigations, negotiated resolutions, settlement discussions, and litigation strategy, providing guidance grounded in how claims are investigated, defended, negotiated, and resolved. With an understanding that businesses are not simply looking for legal answers, Nalani helps identify tailored solutions that protect their people, operations, reputation, and bottom line.
Nalani also advises educational institutions and organizations on select Title IX matters, including investigations, hearings, and compliance-related issues. She has completed investigator and hearing officer certifications through the Association of Title IX Administrators.
