Drew W. Barsalou is a member of Gunster's Private Wealth Services group, practicing primarily in the firm's West Palm Beach office. Drew focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, gift and estate tax planning, and trust and estate administration.

Drew counsels high net worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning strategies designed to preserve wealth, minimize tax exposure, and facilitate the orderly transfer of assets to future generations.  Working closely with clients and their accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals, Drew develops practical, tax-efficient plans tailored to each client's personal and financial objectives. Drew takes the time to understand each client's goals and explains even complex planning strategies in clear, straightforward terms, so clients can make decisions with confidence. 

In his trust and estate administration practice, Drew advises Trustees and Personal Representatives, as well as beneficiaries, guiding them through the administration of trusts and estates and helping them meet their fiduciary obligations efficiently while avoiding unnecessary conflict.

Drew's planning work is informed by his prior experience representing clients in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and the Florida Department of Revenue. That background gives him practical insight into how taxing authorities evaluate transactions and tax returns, which he uses to help clients build plans that hold up to scrutiny.
