Christina advises clients on discovery strategy, responses to document requests, depositions and broader litigation objectives, helping align decisions made during discovery with long-term case strategy, settlement considerations, and trial preparation.

Having taken numerous cases from inception through trial and verdict, Christina brings a nuanced understanding of how early discovery decisions, evidentiary development, and case positioning can influence litigation outcomes. That background informs her approach to eDiscovery and provides practical insight into what information is likely to matter most before judges and juries.

Experienced in complex commercial disputes, product liability matters, mass torts, multidistrict litigation, and arbitration proceedings, Christina has managed litigation portfolios, bellwether trials, coordinated mass actions, and nationwide proceedings involving significant legal exposure, operational risk, and public scrutiny. She regularly leads multidisciplinary teams and advises clients in matters requiring both strategic guidance and hands-on litigation experience.

Christina has served as trial counsel in securing defense verdicts and other favorable resolutions in cases involving pharmaceutical products, consumer safety devices, automotive recalls, and other alleged product defects, and has represented Fortune 500 companies in disputes with implications for broader nationwide litigation strategy. Her experience also includes politically sensitive and nationally watched matters, such as public nuisance litigation and other high-profile controversies.

With a degree in biology, Christina brings technical knowledge to matters involving medical causation, scientific evidence, product design, chemical formulations, and expert testimony. She is skilled at translating complex scientific concepts into clear and compelling arguments and practical guidance, particularly in cases where technical evidence influences litigation strategy.

Before joining Gunster, Christina was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and counsel at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, where she built a practice focused on trial advocacy and managed high-stakes disputes. She also maintains a longstanding commitment to pro bono work, including providing legal support to incarcerated individuals whose constitutional rights have been violated, Mexican nationals on death row in the United States and Malawian prisoners sentenced to death.
