Vescovacci have been appointed to leadership and advisory roles within the American Bar Association’s International Law Section, reflecting their longstanding commitment to international law, cross-border practice, and service to clients across the globe.
William K. Hill has been named Vice Chair of the American Bar Association International Law Section for 2027. Hill, a Miami-based shareholder, is a seasoned business advocate, litigator and trial lawyer with more than three decades of experience resolving complex disputes in and out of court across the country. He is the first and only lawyer to be Florida Bar Board Certified in both Business Litigation and International Litigation & Arbitration. Hill represents clients in complex commercial disputes, class actions, and international arbitrations, and he serves as an experienced arbitrator and mediator on panels including the AAA and ICDR.
Peter A. Quinter has been appointed as a Senior Advisor to the International Law Section's Customs Law Committee. Quinter, a Boca Raton and Miami shareholder, is a globally ranked U.S. Customs and international trade law counselor and advocate who represents individuals and companies in matters involving international trade and transportation. He is a Florida Bar Board Certified international law attorney and advises importers, exporters, customs brokers, international freight forwarders and other companies on international supply chain, regulatory compliance and enforcement issues. Before entering private practice, Quinter served as legal counsel at the Southeast Regional Headquarters of the U.S. Customs Service, now U.S. Customs and Border Protection, in Miami. His ABA International Law Section service also includes leadership roles within the International Transportation Committee and the International Organizations & Regulatory Practice Division.
Milton A. Vescovacci has been appointed Vice Chair for Policy for the International Contracts Committee of the ABA International Law Section. Vescovacci is a shareholder in Gunster’s Miami and Coral Gables offices and a member of the firm’s Corporate practice. With more than 24 years of legal experience, he counsels clients on day-to-day legal operations, sales and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, venture capital investments, mergers, joint ventures and other commercial arrangements. His practice serves domestic and international companies across industries including finance, fintech, real estate, healthcare, aviation, maritime, gaming, technology, logistics and transportation. Vescovacci has been a member of the ABA International Law Section since 2020.
