Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Labor & Employment shareholder Holly Griffin Goodman was recently elected to the board of directors for the Employment Law Alliance (ELA). Goodman was officially named to the board during ELA's 2025 Annual Global Membership Conference in Dublin and will serve as board secretary.
Gunster is one of the original members of ELA—the world’s largest and most prestigious network of labor, employment, and immigration lawyers—and has served as its representative in Southern Florida for over 25 years.
Goodman is a board-certified labor and employment attorney who advises employers of all sizes on the full spectrum of workplace issues—from hiring through discipline and termination—helping businesses balance operational goals with federal, state, and local compliance. She represents clients across industries, including insurance, telecommunications, sports and entertainment, healthcare, and hospitality. Goodman co-leads the firm’s Women’s Leadership Forum and is a member of the Mentoring Committee. She has taught “Employment Law” for the Florida State University College of Law and hosts the Gunster on the Go podcast, which covers need-to-know topics for employers.
