Press Release

Gunster, one of Florida's oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is proud to announce that Kim Kerry, the firm's Director of Marketing, has been named a finalist for the 35th Annual ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award® by the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches.

The ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award was established to honor emerging leaders under the age of 40 who demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their profession, contribute time and energy to improving the quality of life for others in their community, and serve as role models for young women both personally and professionally. The award is part of the prestigious ATHENA Leadership Award program, which was inspired by the goddess of Greek mythology known for her strength, courage, wisdom, and enlightenment.

Known as a champion for her colleagues, a trusted friend, and a source of encouragement and inspiration to everyone fortunate enough to work with her, Kim's selection as a finalist is a true reflection of her leadership, dedication, and the meaningful difference she makes every day to the firm and the community.

Kim was chosen from among a competitive field of accomplished young professionals across the Palm Beaches region. The other finalists for the ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award include Danielle Coffaro of Lessing's Hospitality Group, Imani Williams of Lesser, Landy, Smith & Siegel, LLC, Jasmine Govan Edmonds of Florida Power & Light Company, and Stephania Linares of Moore and the Junior League of the Palm Beaches.

In addition to the Young Professional Leadership Award, finalists in two additional categories, the ATHENA Leadership Award and the ATHENA Organizational Leadership Award, will be recognized at the 35th Annual ATHENA Awards.
