Gunster is pleased to announce that Jon Philipson, a shareholder in the firm’s Tampa office, has been elected to serve as Vice President of the Tampa JCCs and Federation. In addition, Philipson has been named Annual Campaign Chair for the coming year, where he will lead fundraising efforts critical to the Federation’s mission and community impact.

In his roles, Philipson will play a key leadership role in guiding the strategic direction of the Tampa JCCs and Federation, working closely with the Board of Directors, professional staff, and community stakeholders to advance the organization’s programs and services. His election reflects his vision, dedication, and commitment to the Tampa Bay Jewish community.


Gunster Business Litigator, Jon PhillipsonJon Philipson is a litigator and counselor who represents both national and regional business entities in complex business disputes in federal and state trial and appellate courts. He advises and guides clients concerning a wide range of topics, including contract disputes, business negotiations, employment disputes, antitrust disputes, shareholder derivative actions, defamation claims and First Amendment issues. Jon often serves as local counsel for businesses pursuing and defending actions in Florida state and Federal courts, particularly the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
