Former U.S. Senator and Gunster Chairman George LeMieux recently participated as a guest speaker in Emory College’s new political science course, Policy Debates: Left and Right, which promotes civil discourse and cross-ideological understanding among students.
LeMieux shared insights from his experience in public service, discussing the importance of bipartisan collaboration, practical problem-solving and respectful political dialogue. Building on these themes, he encouraged students to consider public service and engage thoughtfully with differing viewpoints, providing a real-world perspective on leadership and policymaking.
