September 23-27, the American Bar Association International Law Section will be posting its 2026 Fall Conference in London. The conference brings together ABA International Law Section members and distinguished guests creating opportunities for connection among 400+ attorneys from all over the world. Alan S. Lederman will participate as a speaker on "Ethics in Motion: Cross-Border Advising for Globally Mobile Families and Fiduciaries." The session will examine the professional responsibility challenges lawyers face when advising high-net-worth clients across multiple jurisdictions, including issues involving tax, trust, and estate planning, privilege, and regulatory compliance.
Additionally, Peter A. Quinter will serve as a speaker on "Tariffs through a Different Lens: Engaging with Clients from a Practical, Legal and Ethical Perspective." The panel will explore the rapidly evolving landscape of global trade policy, tariffs, economic sanctions, and other enforcement measures, providing practical guidance for attorneys advising clients on compliance, risk management, and ethical considerations in international commerce.
