Michael CavendishGunster attorney Michael Cavendish has long been a fan of modern art. His latest collection, “The Unauthorized Collection of John Kaldor,” itself speaks to the act of collecting art.

According to a recent article in The Florida Times-Union, artist David De Boer and filmmaker Aaron Giesel documented their drive from South California to Jacksonville to deliver the “Kaldor” collection to Cavendish. While the duo was in Chicago, the “Kaldor” collection went up for a day at the TriTriangle Gallery and was billed as “The Ripped Off exhibition of Michael Cavendish.” The resulting documentary is expected to be finished in late fall, the Times-Union writer states … about the same time that Cavendish is hoping to display his new collection to the public.
