Zoning and Rezoning

All zoning in Florida must be consistent with the local government comprehensive plan and all use and development must be consistent with the local zoning regulations.  A proposed development may require a rezoning, a text amendment to a zoning code, or the creation of a new zoning regulation or district.  Gunster’s attorneys have helped clients ensure that proper zoning regulations are in place to allow the use or development of their property.  We have processed rezoning applications, crafted amendments to use regulations, and helped to create new zoning categories.  When zoning is a question, Gunster’s attorneys help provide the answers.
