Rural Lands and Agricultural Permitting

The majority of Florida is covered by rural lands and agricultural uses.  These lands are unique in their permitting and development issues.  The Florida Right to Farm Act and various environmental permitting exceptions provide agricultural users with special opportunities to use their properties for agricultural production.  In addition, Florida’s Rural Land Stewardship laws allow for unique development opportunities for rural Florida that provide large land owners the chance to use their land for its highest and best uses associated with development, agriculture, and conservation.  Gunster’s attorney’s experience in the use of these special laws, and their work in creating the Rural Lands Stewardship legislation, provide our clients with a team of attorneys that can help in all phases of agricultural uses and rural lands developments to achieve the client’s ultimate goals for their property.
