Concurrency Management

All new development must meet Florida’s concurrency management regulations related to traffic, schools, parks, police and fire, water and sewer, and other public services.  The impact of the concurrency management regimes in the various state and local governments have impacted the ability and cost of the use and development of property.  Gunster’s attorneys have assisted clients in navigating the pitfalls of the concurrency management regulations to find creative and cost effective solutions to meet legal requirements and help gain project approvals.  This includes working on impact fee structures, development agreements, proportionate share agreements, and infrastructure construction agreements.
