Gunster is pleased to announce that David M. Wells, a business litigation attorney in its Jacksonville office, has become a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, widely considered to be the premier professional trial organization in America.

“I am humbled to have been invited to become a Fellow,” Wells said. “It’s an honor to be among the country’s outstanding trial lawyers asked to join the American College.”

The induction ceremony at which Wells became a Fellow took place before an audience of about 600 during the College’s 2012 spring meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Mr. Wells is a shareholder at Gunster and serves on the firm’s Board of Directors. He focuses his practice in the area of complex commercial litigation.

He was named Jacksonville Lawyer of the Year by The Best Lawyers in America for Real Estate Litigation (2012) and Bet-the-Company Litigation (2011). He has also been recognized by Best Lawyers for the past 15+ years in a number of litigation areas: banking & finance, bet-the-company, business, commercial, construction, real estate and securities litigation.

Wells is a graduate of Florida International University and received his J.D. from the University of Miami.
