Fabienne E. Fahnestock, a shareholder in Gunster‘s Fort Lauderdale office, will be included in the South Florida Legal Guide’s December 2013 listing of “Top Lawyers.” Fahnestock has been named an “Up and Comer” since to 2009, and is proud to have made it to the publication’s “Top Lawyers” list in the areas of health, corporate and business litigation.
Fahnestock handles commercial and complex litigation, and has experience in the prosecution and defense of commercial and corporate disputes in federal and state courts, including health care provider reimbursement and contractual disputes, estate and trust litigation, will contests and appellate law. She was certified as a civil circuit mediator by the Florida Supreme Court in 2013.
Additional recent honors and designations Fahnestock has earned include the Daily Business Review’s 2013 Rising Stars, the Sun Sentinel’s 2012 People on the Move award and listed among the 2013 Florida Super Lawyers for business litigation.

But Fabienne is much more than this, she is a client counselor who puts her clients first working tirelessly to resolve their problems in the most efficient and cost–effective way possible. Internally, she plays a vital role at Gunster as mentor to associate attorneys, co-chairs the firm’s diversity committee, assists with attorney recruitment, and coordinates continuing education programs for Gunster’s business litigation practice. She also acts as a mentor to law students and young attorneys outside of Gunster, and is one of our best ambassadors to the South Florida community.
