An article published on the Sun Sentinel’s website today discussed the 15th Juducial District’s Professionalism Panel, which hears complaints against Palm Beach County attorneys. The panel was created pursuant to a June 2013 order by the Florida Supreme Court.

Gunster attorney Roger Feicht was interviewed for the article.

As chair of the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Judicial Spokesman Subcommittee from 2012-2014, Feicht helps to conduct the annual interviews of county, circuit and appellate judges in Palm Beach County. The interviews are intended to identify the areas in which local attorneys can improve when making their case in court. As his March 2014 article states, there were specific recommendations regarding civility and professionalism, as well as how lawyers might improve their law practice. In the September 2 article, Feicht tells Sun Sentinel writer Marc Freeman that poor behavior in the courtroom is noticed by members of the jury, and that being aggressive isn’t always the best move for attorneys. Read the entire article: Program takes aim at problem lawyers (Sun Sentinel, 9/2/14).
