Gunster shareholder Fabienne Fahnestock was recently selected by the Daily Business Review as one of the state’s 40 “Rising Stars” under the age of 40 who are positioned to become tomorrow’s top lawyers and leaders. She will be honored at an event at the Bankers Club in downtown Miami from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18.

Fahnestock provides counsel to clients throughout Florida in the areas of business litigation, health law, estate planing and probate, trust & guardianship litigation. She has achieved an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, been listed among The Best Lawyers in America for trusts & estates litigation, and was named one of 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County.
She was also recently certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Civil Circuit Mediator.
At Gunster, Fahnestock plays an important role as mentor and role model for female attorneys and associates of color. She co-chairs the firm’s diversity committee, assists with attorney recruitment, coordinates the monthly CLE programs for Gunster’s business litigation practice, and recently coordinated the firm’s involvement at the annual Kozyak Minority Mentoring foundation picnic for law students.
She has served as chair of the membership diversity committee for the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law (RPPTL) Section of the Florida Bar for approximately five years, and mentors law students and young attorneys outside of Gunster, too.
