Gunster Attorney Presents On The Latest Developments in Water Quality Law
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla (April 24, 2009) – Luna E. Phillips, a member of the Fort Lauderdale office of Gunster, Attorneys at Law, was a guest speaker at the 2009 Hot Topics in Environmental and Land Use Law Seminar. Titled, “Cleaning Up New Development: New Directions in Water Quality and Environmental Permitting,” the presentation was part of a day-long continuing education workshop presented by The Florida Bar. “Water Quality Law continues to evolve at a fast pace, and affects a wide range of issues. It is important for our clients to know how these laws may impact their projects,” said Phillips.
Phillips, a member of Gunster’s Environmental and Land Use practice group, is a Board Certified attorney practicing environmental law and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Her practice focuses on water resources, sustainable development, climate change and Everglades restoration.
