Cyril E. Smith Joins Gunster's Insurance Coverage Practice

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (March 12, 2010) – Cyril E. Smith has joined Gunster, Attorneys at Law, in its West Palm Beach office as an associate in the firm’s insurance coverage practice, one of the premier corporate policyholder practices in Florida. Smith’s background in representing large national and international insurance companies will enhance and further diversify Gunster’s statewide practice.

Smith has extensive litigation experience, handling all aspects of construction defect, environmental liability, property damage, bodily injury, and professional liability coverage disputes.  He is admitted to practice law in the States of Florida, New York and Connecticut.

Smith is a 1999 graduate of Brooklyn Law School, and a 1995 graduate of Hunter College, City of University of New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude.  Before joining Gunster, he was an associate for six years at Nixon Peabody LLP in New York City and, later, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
