Well-funded Buyers Eye Smaller Projects Before Market’s Turn
Sales of office buildings of any class have virtually ground to a halt, and brokers say it’s likely that larger institutional- grade properties will be the first to be traded when life returns to the market.
For smaller properties, questions of valuation and lack of good-quality inventory remain problematic. There’s still a gulf between the seller’s perception of value and the potential buyer’s, said Jay Perkins, principal of Perkins Realty Advisors.
