Mark Scheer Named Honoree at the 9th Annual Men With Caring Hearts Luncheon

March 10, 2010-Mark J. Scheer, a shareholder for Gunster, Attorneys at Law, is among the honorees nominated for the "Tiffany Outstanding Service Award." The winner will be announced at the 9th Annual Men with Caring Hearts luncheon on April 23, 2010 at the Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton. 

This event honors men who have improved the quality of lives through their work with non-profit groups. In 2002, Scheer became a board member of the Florence Fuller Child Development Foundation, and helped organize the Foundation to support the Florence Fuller Child Development Centers. Since 2006, he has served on the board of directors for the Centers in several capacities including Treasurer and Secretary. Florence Fuller Child Development Centers, with two locations in Boca Raton, Florida, provides quality childcare services to children from low-income households. The Centers currently serve 625 children from six weeks to 11 years of age and offers the only Head Start and Early Head Start programs in Boca Raton.

Scheer is board certified in Tax Law by the Florida Bar. He concentrates his areas of practice in state, federal and international tax planning and business structuring, as well as estate planning with particular emphasis on the needs of international clients.
