WJCT – Studio A Soundstage

100 Festival Park Avenue Jacksonville, FL 32201

TEDx Jacksonville, an independently organized TED event, will be held on Saturday, October 25, at the studios of WJCT in Jacksonville, Florida.

The theme of this year’s TEDxJAX conference is (un)knowing. According to the event website:

(Un)knowing is not ignorance, but rather a conscious decoupling from what society has assumed to be immutable truths. What knowledge – if unlearned – would open minds? What must we (un)know in order to make Jacksonville an ever-better city?

The conference will include the following TED talks:

  • Let’s go all-in on selling sustainability (Steve Howard)
  • How an obese town lost a million pounds (Mick Cornett)
  • It’s time for the Talk (Julia Sweeney)
  • One year of turning the world inside out (JR)

Additional speakers and performances are also planned. An after-party will be held at the Metropolitan Park Pavilion. See the agenda for more details.

Gunster is a proud sponsor of TEDx Jacksonville. For more information, visit the event website.
