"It's a Wonderful Life" classic Christmas movieGunster is a proud sponsor of the “It’s a Wonderful Life” screening Friday, December 20 at 7:30 p.m. This Christmas classic tells the story of a compassionate but increasingly frustrated businessman who is helped by an angel at Christmas by showing him what his life would have been like if he never existed.

A holiday-themed Mighty Wurlitzer preshow concert and mini-tour of the theater occurs before every show. Due to the popularity of the Tampa Theatre’s Holiday Classic series, doors will open one hour before show time and guests are encouraged to arrive early.

It’s not to late to buy tickets! Visit the event page at the Tampa Theatre website. Cost is $10 or $8 for theatre members. In the spirit of the season, Gunster has donated 50 tickets to The Children’s Home in Tampa so that struggling families in the area may attend the show.

The Tampa Theatre is a beloved, 87-year-old landmark featuring grand-movie-palace architecture and a Mighty Wurlitzer organ. It was selected as one of the top 10 iconic showplaces in the world by Delta Sky magazine and one of “America’s 21 Wonders” by Life magazine. The nonprofit hosts more than 600 events annually, including films, concerts and special events. The theatre recently celebrated its birthday with the unveiling of its new logo.
