David C. Scileppi, co-leader of Gunster’s securities and corporate governance law practice, will be a presenter at the upcoming October 29 Dodd-Frank, PCAOB discussions in Tampa.
The event is the result of a partnership among Gunster, the Florida Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Southeastern Chapter (Florida subchapter) of the Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals.
Scileppi will discuss the recent PCAOB proposal that would change the form of the standard audit report. Co-presenters on this topic are Gerald Czarnecki, chairman & CEO of The Deltennium Group Inc. and chairman of NACD Florida Chapter; and Consuelo Hitchcock, principal – regulatory and professional matters at Deloitte LLP.
The other topic to be discussed at the event is the status of SEC rulemaking on the remaining governance/compensation provisions under Dodd-Frank.
