Gunster attorney joins panel for St. Thomas Law carnival

St. Thomas University School of Law is hosting a carnival with an educational twist on March 14. The event will feature alumni, current students, administrators and professionals and provide free food, wine, beer, babysitting services and a range of activities, including a course taught by one of the school’s professors.

Teal_KyleThe school’s law review will be hosting an alumni panel in the afternoon on “How to find post-graduate employment positions,” which will feature Gunster’s Kyle Teal as a panelist. The editor-in-chief of the St. Thomas Law Review, Danielle Snyder, will be hosting the panel and will ask the participants questions about their experiences and inquire about any advice the panelists may have.

The event is free to attend and will include a bounce house, dunk tank, obstacle course and rock-climbing wall. Registration for the event is now open.

St. Thomas University School of Law is located on the university’s main campus in Miami Gardens. The school has many assets for students including a multi-level library, a moot court amphitheater, a computer lab and plenty of classrooms and offices for students organizations.

Kyle Teal is an associate in Gunster’s Miami office and is a member of the environmental and land use practice groups. His practice areas also include business litigation, eminent domain and inverse condemnation, environmental law and land use law. Before beginning his legal career, Teal worked as a journalist in Miami, Key West and Central Florida.
