Enterprise Development Corporation of South Florida will hold its 17th annual Emerging Technology Business Showcase on Thursday, October 23, at the Miami-Dade College Wolfson Campus.
The event offers entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors and service providers to network and learn about the latest advances in technology.
According to the EDC:
This year’s conference will showcase some of the most promising early-stage companies in South Florida through investor pitches and product demos. Attendees will also hear from industry experts who have started, invested in and grown successful companies through presentations, panel discussions and exhibits.
The day begins with a “Venture Capital Bootcamp” that will feature two sessions focused on important entrepreneur topics such as “What Does a Fundable Company Look Like?“ and “Deal Structure” for those startups seeking funding.
Lunch in the form of “Paradise Chef Startup Edition,” will provide attendees with food sampling from different startups and a panel discussion on industry trends within the food startup sector.
After lunch, the conference will focus on“Valuation of Early Stage Companies” and presentations from 10 exciting South Florida startups. The event culminates with a sponsor appreciation reception.
