John F. Mariani

John F. Mariani, a shareholder of the firm, is head of the Miami Office's Litigation Department and the firm's Product Liability Defense Group. Mr. Mariani was formerly a member of Levy Kneen Mariani LLC, and previously of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York and Palm Beach. Before starting his practice with Cadwalader in New York, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Ruggero J. Aldisert of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Practice Areas

Mr. Mariani practices primarily in complex commercial litigation, class actions, and appeals, including product liability defense, antitrust and trade regulation, securities, franchise litigation, complicated shareholder and partnership disputes, trademark and patent litigation, and he advises clients generally on dispute avoidance and resolution.
