This program will demonstrate the importance of government affairs for any business, give an overview of the current legislative environment and share important information about what Florida-based businesses can anticipate from federal and state policy makers in the coming year. 100% of proceeds benefit Voices for Children of Broward County, a non-profit that assists abused, abandoned and neglected children in the county’s dependency system.
Founded in 2011, Voices for Children of Broward County raises funds and awareness for the Guardian ad Litem Program of Broward County, which works to provide an advocate for abused, neglected and abandoned children in the dependency system.
A Guardian ad Litem (GAL) is a trained community volunteer who works one-on-one with the children, advising the judge on their progress through the dependency system and making recommendations to the court on how to best to serve their interests.
